WRCFC is committed to reshaping how we care for our forests, integrating traditional ecological knowledge (TEK) with modern science to create a more sustainable future. Together, we’re embracing this moment to heal both the land and the people who rely on it.
We believe that by restoring forest health, we’re also nurturing the well-being of our communities. Through sustainable forest management, we aim to support local economies, improve public safety, and ensure that future generations can continue to enjoy the benefits of a vibrant, healthy ecosystem.
By restoring natural fire cycles, reducing excess fuels, and promoting healthy growth, we can create resilient landscapes that protect both nature and the people who live here. Reducing our risks today means ensuring a safer tomorrow.
Real change happens when we come together. The WRCFC is a partnership of diverse stakeholders—tribal nations, local governments, conservationists, landowners, and community members—working hand in hand to find solutions that benefit everyone
Formed in 2012, the Wild Rivers Coast Forest Collaborative is a partnership of diverse local and regional interests who have come together to address and resolve the impassioned social gridlock and controversy surrounding natural resource management in the region.
Our meetings are held on the second Tuesday of each month from 1-3PM PST
